#beautybible: SILICONES IN COSMETICS

Natural beauty without silicone: your skin, your choice!

beauties,

We all love to look good and take care of our skin, but have you ever wondered what is really hidden in your cosmetic products? Silicones, plastics and silicone oils are still quite common in the cosmetics industry. Why? They are inexpensive, easy They can be manufactured industrially and deliver quick results. Silicones are particularly popular in creams and lotions for mature skin because they optically fill in wrinkles and make the skin appear smooth and even on the surface.

But silicones are often more of an illusion than reality, and for good reason they are not explicitly labelled by manufacturers. The silicone film forms a barrier on the skin's surface and prevents any absorption of valuable ingredients. This means that silicones only work superficially and have no real caring effect.

At NATURAL PRIME, we instead use plant-based oils that can work not only on the surface but also inside the skin. These oils are quickly absorbed and help to bring irritated and over-cared skin back into balance. At the same time, they reduce the loss of the skin's own moisture.

So if you want to avoid silicone, look for endings like “-siloxane,” “-cone,” and “-conol.”

Here is a small example list:

– Amodimethicone
– Cyclomethicone
– Cyclopentoxylase
– Dimethicone
– Dimethicone Copolyol
– Dimethiconol
– Polysiloxane
– PEG/PPG-14/4 Dimethicone

It's time to be more conscious about our skin care. You deserve products that don't just work superficially, but really care for and pamper your skin. Choose natural beauty without silicone - because your skin is worth it!
